Girl on Girl is a feminist art collective of female-identifying artists who work together to create a supportive environment for art creation, experimentation, and discussion.
What began as an online platform in 2012, and later became a collective in 2014, Girl on Girl has evolved into a large community of female artists from all over the world, with active chapters in three U.S. cities.
Girl on Girl Chapters
Syracuse University
Established 2012
The home and heart of Girl on Girl, known for their bi-annual art exhibitions at Spark Contemporary Art Space in Downtown Syracuse, NY.
Founded by three female artists while studying at Syracuse University in 2012, as a means to meet and work with other like-minded female artists on campus. Each year, graduating Girl on Girl members pass the torch to the next generation of girls who will take over the responsibilities of the collective—it's a tradition we hope to continue for years to come.
